How is the CD shipped?
The CD is shipped in a mailing container. It usually takes a week and half to arrive at U.S.A. or European addresses. It may take longer to arrive in other countries.
What is the Upgrade CD?
If you have purchased My Blood Pressure (either the CD option or the electronic delivery option) at any time in the past, you can purchase a CD upgrade containing the latest version for US $9.95. If we can not locate your original order, we will email you asking for your original order number before shipping the CD.
If I buy an Upgrade CD, do I need an older version on my computer?
No, the version of My Blood Pressure on the Upgrade CD is the full version ... it does not require the presence of an older version to be installed. The contents of the Upgrade CD is exactly the same as the contents of the CD sent to new purchasers.
CD Contents
When you insert the CD, the following menu appears:
Install My Blood Pressure
This will install the latest version of My Blood Pressure. Your keycode is built into the installer so that you do not need to enter it. After installing, the fully licensed version of My Blood Pressure will be on your computer.
Install Bonus Screensaver
This will install our "Heart and Blood Cell" screensaver on your computer. The screensaver is designed to be relaxing and soothing for those suffering from high (or low) blood pressure!
It also shows the latest blood pressure news from our website to keep you informed and up-to-date with recent blood pressure health news items.
Installing the screensaver is optional. It can be installed and uninstalled separately from My Blood Pressure.
Install Bonus Documents
This will install a collection of 6 documents, relating to blood pressure, which we have permission from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) to distribute. These documents are available on the NHLBI website, and we have placed them in an easy to install package on the CD.
The healthy heart documents include great information on diet and eating plans for sufferers of high blood pressure, including some easy to prepare and delicious recipes!
Installing the documents is optional. They can be installed and uninstalled separately from My Blood Pressure.
