Anger affects blood pressureA furious argument can result in elevated blood pressure levels for an entire week after the argument finished, a study shows. The researchResearchers had thought that blood pressure would return to normal once an argument had finished. Researchers found that a week latter blood pressure levels were still high, if the anger is remembered. The researchers from the University of California and Columbia University found the subjects blood pressure rose just from thinking about the anger, even after a week had passed. According to the report in the Telegraph "Anger has been linked to heart disease and research has suggested that hardening of the arteries occurs faster in people who score highly in hostility and anger tests."
